A Different Kind of Adult Family Home
River Watch Care Home was created with a simple belief: adults with developmental disabilities deserve more than a safe place to live. They deserve a home where they’re known as individuals, supported in building independence, and encouraged to have full lives filled with relationships, experiences, and connection to their community.
As a small adult family home in Kalama, Washington, we’re able to know each resident personally—their routines, interests, goals, preferences, and the things that make them feel most at home.
Care Should Make More Life Possible
Our role is not to make care the center of someone’s life. It is to provide the support, stability, and encouragement that make more of life possible.
That means building everyday skills, creating opportunities for connection, supporting personal goals, and making room for the hobbies, friendships, outings, celebrations, and experiences that give life meaning.

A Home Built Around Real Life
Life at River Watch extends beyond the walls of our home. We want residents to stay connected—to friends, family, activities, and the community around them.
Whether it's attending a local event, going out for dinner, cheering at a game, exploring a new hobby, or simply spending time together at home, we want residents to have experiences to look forward to and opportunities to discover what they enjoy.
Our role isn't to create one version of a good life for everyone. It's to get to know each resident and help them build their version of one.
Megan
Megan brings more than a decade of healthcare leadership experience, including overseeing care and operations across more than 30 healthcare locations and leading hundreds of team members. Her work has centered on building strong teams, improving the patient experience, and creating systems that support consistent, thoughtful care.
At River Watch, she brings that experience into a much more personal setting—where knowing each resident and understanding their individual goals comes first.
Experience You Can Trust
Jeremy
Jeremy brings more than 20 years of experience in banking and client relations, with a career built around communication, trust, problem-solving, and long-term relationships.
At River Watch, those skills translate into strong relationships with residents, families, case managers, and the community—and his passion for creating opportunities for residents to get out, connect, and experience more of life.
The People Behind River Watch
River Watch is more than a business to us—it's part of our family's life. We're raising two young daughters, and our days include school, sports, family dinners, holidays, community events, and all the wonderfully ordinary moments in between.
That everyday family life helps shape what we want River Watch to feel like: warm, active, connected, and genuinely lived in.
Residents are always encouraged to build lives that reflect their own interests, relationships, goals, and routines. But when someone wants to join us for a game, celebration, outing, or ordinary evening at home, there's a place for them.
